bio / memory / DNA / GMO / art

By jerome @ 09:53 [ Interesting media art and culture ]
What exactly is Biopresence?
Biopresence developed a unique method, that allows us to store human DNA 'within' the tree of a plant, WITHOUT affecting the genes of the resulting organism.
Biopresence trees can be seen as 'Living Memorials' or 'Transgenic Tombstones'. We believe that a growing, living tree has the ability to comfort in a completely different way than cold gravestones.

and you know what? ;)
Biopresence is currently on display at the Wellcome Wing at the Science Museum in London. The exhibition is expected to run until mid-2005.

jklabs :: MaxLink - anyone tryed this out?

By jerome @ 06:53 [ Resources ]
The MaxLink java libraries enable communication between Processing and Max/MSP 4.5 on both Mac and Windows.
jklabs :: MaxLink
it apparently sounds very good...

processing
max/msp (cycling74)
pure data
