Hi Jerome,
IMHO, your rights are always protected under any copyright law - so you don't have to especially protect it. And that's exactly the problem.

That's why we need CC. To "unprotect" somehow our work. Or stated differently: let others use our works and still keeping some rights, but less than before.

Best
Roger

yes, for sure (sorry i wasn't really clear)
but what i wanted to notice here was for students who are actually a bit affraid about the creative commons and the fact of sharing their work (actually there's the joywar and grey album related discussions there). what i wanted to say is that cc isn't a copyleft, it's a copyright going to the left ;) kind of adaptive system and that's what was stated in these words:

> to diffuse your work AND protect your rigths AND allow people to use it

so, ok, it wasn't really clear... sorry ^_^

I see...

The good thing about CC is really that you can choose what you want. Normally, if you are a young artist, you want your art to be seen by the greatest number of people, you want to share to some degree without giving your rights away completely. I think CC in this regard, is great.

I was happy having a conversation with you about it;)
