Tangible Flash

By juerglehni @ 10:36 [ Flash ]
Even the flash community seems to have cought the drift: Teleo Modules

The way they do it seems a bit complicated first but is actually pretty clever: As flash is a closed system, they created an external XML server which runs on the system where the Teleo modules are connected. Flash now connects to this server through its integrated XML socket support (used also for multiuser games and such). This means that distributed networks on several computers with a lot of different modules and zentralized or decentralized logic is very easy to realize, as both the different flash movies and the modules involved communicate through the same technology (XML server).

This could be a very interesting playground for future workshops / projects.
