The MaxLink java libraries enable communication between Processing and Max/MSP 4.5 on both Mac and Windows.

pour faire court: processing est une interface pour programmer du java plus simplement. max/msp (tout comme son petit frere open source: pure data) permet le traitement en temps réel d'un signal, qui peut être aussi bien audio que video.

la version 0.38test7 fonctionne très bien sous os X, le module externe GEM ne semble pas encore fonctionner parfaitement, mais il vous suffit d'être un peu patient, et vous pouvez toujours utiliser JITTER sous MAX si vraiment vous ne pouvez attendre...

Pour ceux qui seraient intéressés par des outils de traitement du signal vidéo temps réel, voici un lien sur un tutorial pour Jitter (librairie pour max/msp).

D'autre logiciels dans le même domaine mais n'ayant pas forcément les mêmes fonctions: pure-data(gratuit), eyesweb (gratuit), isadora ou softVNS
