From Monday the 9th to Friday the 13th

Split into groups working on the structure and the event, we went to buy materials at the local Jumbo DIY store. The longest thinnest timber, the lightest sheet materials. We carried it on our shoulders the 1 mile back to the school.
There was a lot of nervousness about the structure, how high could we build it? How could we make it strong enough? Would it collapse? We decided to build one leg and go by our instincts.(Text by Sam Buxton)
